My "Awards Room": "Cannes Shorts" trophy

Hi friends, welcome to my "Awards Room"!

Today I'm proud to show you the trophy I won with 'Deep Shock' at the prestigious "Cannes Shorts" of Cannes (France).

I'd like to dedicate this award to my father Augusto Melini, who unfortunately passed away exactly one month ago.

I still remember his skepticism when I told him that I wanted to work in the film industry: "Dreams are only for children, and not for adults". This was his typical phrase... Well, I won that battle and I changed his skepticism into joy. In the end he became my number 1 fan!!!

And in 'Deep Shock' there is also my father's hand: as a Church's Pastor, who better than him knows the Bible? All biblical quotes from Priest Jonathan McRoberts (George Bracebridge) were chosen by him.

So, this award is for you Dad!
