Professionally speaking, I close a good year! 2019 has seen the confirmation of 'Lion', which with 284 awards, is the most awarded horror short film in history, as well as the release of my new 'Deep Shock', already winner of 37 awards. And how can I forget the victory in Hollywood with my old short film 'The Puzzle'?
For 2020 I only want one thing: shooting my first feature film!
Fingers crossed and HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!!!

'Deep Shock': Awards #34-37 in Florence (Italy)

Have we been good this year? Let's see if there is something under the Christmas tree... Wow! Santa Claus brought us four beautiful gifts...
I'm extremely proud to announce that 'Deep Shock' has won four new awards in the prestigious "Florence Film Awards" (Italy):
- Best Director (Davide Melini);
- Best Actress (Muireann Bird);
- Best Original Score (Giulio De Gaetano);
- Best Sound Design (Christian Valente).
My film also received other 4 nominations:
- Best Thriller;
- Best Actor (George Bracebridge);
- Best Editing (Daniel Salinas);
- Best Original Screenplay (Davide Melini).

'Lion' screens today in Xalapa, Veracruz (Mexico)

I'm happy to say that 'Lion' screens today in the final of the "FICCPaz - Festival Internacional de Cine para la Cultura de Paz", that will be held at 6.30pm in "La Central".
But that is not all! My short film will also be screened on Saturday 21st at 4:00pm in the "Constituyentes".
Both locations are located in Xalapa, Veracruz (Mexico).

'Deep Shock' at the "David di Donatello Award 2020"

Big news folks!!! This night I'm are extremely proud to announce that 'Deep Shock' is an official competition at the prestigious "Premi David di Donatello 2020" (it's equivalent to the American "Academy Awards").
After 'The sweet hand of the White Rose' (2011) and 'Lion' (2018), this is the third time I have one of my films in Italy's biggest film event.
