'The Screenplay' conquers Hollywood by winning 8 awards!

OMG: 'The Screenplay' conquers Hollywood! This evening I'm extremely proud to announce that my old short film has won 8 new awards at the famous "Hollywood Blood Horror Festival" of Los Angeles, California (US):

- Best Fantasy;

- Best Producers (Giancarlo Galante and me);

- Best First Time Director;

- Best Actor (Matteo Pianezzi);

- Best Supporting Actress (Claudia Nicosia);

- Best Supporting Actor (Filippo Panunzi);

- Best Editing (Roberto Micalizzi);

- Best Special Makeup (Rosario Prestopino, Diego Prestopino).

It's an extraordinary result, because it's a festival in which many great artists have been awarded, such as, the Oscar nominated Eric Roberts and Linda Blair ('The Exorcist'); the "Scream Queens" Adrienne King ('Friday the 13th') and Caroline Williams ('The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2'); Christine Elise ('Beverly Hills 90210') and also the Italians Maria Grazia Cucinotta, Claudio Simonetti and Sergio Stivaletti.

Personally then, I'm particularly pleased to have won the 'Best First Time Director' award for the first time. 'The Screenplay' was in fact my second film and we were all young and at the very first experiences.

What a wonderful memory!
