She starred in some films directed by Dario Argento: 'Deep Red' (1975), 'Inferno' (1980), 'Tenebrae' (1982), 'Phenomena' (1985), 'Opera' (1987) and 'Mother of Tears: the Third Mother' (2007).
She also co-wrote 'Suspiria' and 'Inferno' with Argento.
Daria starred in 'Shock', the final film of Italian horror director Mario Bava.
She was the mother of of the actress Asia Argento.
