Goodbye "Fantozzi": Italy cries the death of Paolo Villaggio (1932 - 2017)

Actor and writer Paolo Villaggio, one of the greats of Italian comedy, has died this morning at the age of 84. He is noted for his characters he created with paradoxical and grotesque characteristicas: Professor Kranz (watch here) the ultra-timid Giandomenico Fracchia (watch here and here) and the obsequious and meek accountant Ugo Fantozzi (here), perhaps the favourite character in Italian comedy. He authored several books, usually of satirical character.
Between 1968 and 2017, Villaggio worked on 83 films. He has received several cinema awards, including the David di Donatello (1990), the Nastro d'Argento (1994). In 1992 he became the first comic to win the Venice Film Festival's Golden Lion career award.
R.I.P. Paolo!!!

'Lion' - Second great review in Chicago, Illinois (US)

The second incredible review of 'Lion' has come out on the famous Chicago "Horror Society" website (click here to read it). This time we enter in the technical details of the film and analyze all the points. This is the summary:
- The visual effects are absolutely astounding, as is the rest of the short;
- It also contains really good scenes of pratical effects gore;
- The location is simple yet effective;
- Michael Segal is showcases impressive acting chops (and muscles) and steals the show with his aggressive performance;
- There's really no flaws on the editing side of things;
- Audio and lighting is on point.
Film critic Michael DeFellipo endes his article, saying "Simple, effective, smart and suspenseful. Thos are the key words I'd use to describe Davide Melini's Lion".
What else to add? A thousand thanks for the wonderful words.
